Lufthansa Industry Solutions presents its expertise on the theme of blockchain.
solutions.hamburg is Germany's largest digitalization congress, and will be held once again in Hamburg’s Kampnagel event venue – for the fourth year in a row. At last year’s three-day conference more than 3,300 participants from over 1,800 companies sought inspiration from 500 speakers. Lufthansa Industry Solutions will have charge of the symposium’s “blockchain” theme track on Friday, September 14.

Hardly any other technology has had such a polarizing effect in recent years as blockchain. Many enthusiasts see it as the key to a better, decentralized internet where users can keep the control of their data in their own hands. Others are interested in new business models that eliminate intermediaries and could make large portions of the financial sector superfluous. Companies are often still skeptical, or cannot understand what blockchain might be used for – isn’t it merely an inefficient database?
