We take on responsibility, embrace diversity and act sustainably. We promote and practice this culture through corresponding programs – and total commitment from our employees. We signed up to the German Diversity Charter out of a sense of conviction and give our employees the opportunity to share ideas and complete training on diversity, health and sustainability-related topics. We support our colleagues’ social engagement and strive to become more inclusive every single day.

Our recruitment process

We place particular emphasis on making the application process swift and transparent. Our recruitment process is mainly digital and consists of several phases:

You apply online via the central Lufthansa Careers Portal by finding a job description that appeals to you and clicking “Apply”. You can then upload your application documents.

We’ll review your documents and give you a prompt response.

If your profile is a good match for the role, we’ll arrange a roughly 30-minute virtual meeting between you and one of our recruiters. Topics of discussion will include your résumé, your aspirations and goals, the basic conditions we offer – and, of course, we’ll answer any questions you have at this stage.

The next step is a virtual interview with the specialist department and your prospective line manager. Lasting roughly 90 minutes, this interview is an opportunity to discuss personal and professional issues. You’ll find out more about the role, including tasks, projects and the team. In addition to a recruiter and your prospective line manager, a member of the team will often also attend.

If both parties decide that it’s a good fit, we’ll send you a contract offer. Once all the details have been finalized, we’ll sign the contract and can look forward to you joining our team.

When you join LHIND, we’ll induct you into our Welcome Academy. You’ll spend your first three working days at our headquarters in Norderstedt, alongside all our other new recruits. This allows you to get to know your new colleagues and make connections, collect your hardware and, above all, receive the information you need to get off to a strong start at LHIND.
