The three-day workshop will teach the essential components of an IoT solution in the Azure Cloud. After architectural basics, the components will be examined in detail and their properties and configuration will be presented in a well-founded way. This also includes possible combinations of components, the resulting boundary conditions for using the solution and a cost analysis.

The practical exercises enable the participants to build, configure and test an end-to-end IoT solution themselves over the course of the workshop. The exercise also includes the use of tools such as the Azure CLI and Visual Studio Code with extensions as well as the creation of simple programs for data analysis and visualization that can be used after the workshop. The workshop will provide enough time to discuss and reflect on the contents.
