Localizing forklift loads, monitoring industrial fans and receiving information on damaged containers in real time: You can view and even try out for yourself all these applications related to Industry 4.0 at the Lufthansa Industry Solutions stand at the Hannover Messe 2018 from April 23 to 27.
Norderstedt, April 12, 2018 – Lufthansa Industry Solutions is making an appearance at the Hannover Messe for the first time. The IT experts are presenting six use cases of predictive maintenance, from tracking solutions to a digital production line, under the motto “Practical Use Cases for Industry 4.0.” Visitors can explore for themselves all the exhibits on display at Booth H17 in Hall 6. In addition, all the exhibits have a QR code to provide visitors with more information right on their own smartphones.
In the area of condition-based maintenance, for example, Lufthansa Industry Solutions is presenting an industrial fan whose status can be monitored by means of audio analysis. Visitors can adjust the strength of the fan, thereby causing “glitches” whose effects can be read directly in the system on a traffic light showing the fan’s status. LoRa technology makes this possible.
