Lufthansa subsidiary adds Energy Market Suite to its portfolio / Partnership is to be expanded to include smart metering
In future, Lufthansa Industry Solutions will be the sales and implementation partner for the Robotron Energy Market Suite. The IT service provider, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lufthansa AG, and Robotron Datenbank-Software GmbH have now agreed upon a partnership to this effect. The Robotron Energy Market Suite is an integral and media-independent system solution. It illustrates all the necessary functions within providers’ core business processes.
“In many industries, automation and digitization have become a competitive factor. In the energy sector in particular, networking and smart IT solutions are playing an ever greater role. Our partnership with Robotron means we can expand our portfolio for the Energy Industry segment to include an offer with an excellent reputation in the sector,” explains Heiko Packwitz, Vice President at Lufthansa Industry Solutions.
In future, Lufthansa Industry Solutions will assist the Dresden-based software specialist for database solutions with its sales operations both within Germany and abroad. The cooperative relationship also includes advice, conceptual design, implementation and specialist customer support following project implementation. “In Lufthansa Industry Solutions, we have acquired an experienced and competent partner which will enable us to gear ourselves even more towards the needs of the market. This particularly includes timely and – at the same time – reliable implementation of project requests,” states Ulf Heinemann, General Manager at Robotron. “The partnership also aims to expand the business relationships into the smart metering business segment in future.”
