Norderstedt, September 30, 2019 – On October 1, 2019, Steffen Heyn (47) will take over as Head of the Finance, Controlling & Legal Service Unit at Lufthansa Industry Solutions (LHIND). He will succeed Klaus-Dietrich Ahrens, who is retiring at the end of the year.
Steffen Heyn is currently Group Lead of the “Investment Management Group Companies” Division at Deutsche Lufthansa AG. In this role he is responsible for the investment management of the service and financial companies of the Lufthansa Group, monitoring and further developing Corporate Governance, as well as providing support for the Supervisory Boards of companies within the Group.
In his new function, Steffen Heyn will take on the duties of the Chief Financial Officer and advise the management in a legal function. Steffen Heyn will report directly to Bernd Appel, Managing Director of Lufthansa Industry Solutions.
