Lufthansa Industry Solutions will showcase Convergence Solutions und Velimo
Seatrade Cruise Global is the leading annual global business-to-business event for the cruise industry. Bringing together buyers and suppliers for a four-day conference and three-day exhibition, the gathering draws more than 11,000 registered attendees, over 800 exhibiting companies from 93 countries. Lufthansa Industry Solutions will be exhibiting at the Seatrade in Fort Lauderdale, USA, and will show it’s IT Solutions for the cruise industry.
Lufthansa Industry Solutions is a global leader in designing and building an integrated network infrastructure that allows the hospitality industry to provide their guests with a differentiating service at a reduced cost. The IP-based high-performance platform contains extensive security and service offers, as well as offering passengers the greatest possible convenience.
Guests can telephone over a wireless data network, surf the Web, call for services and movies, or watch live TV. What is more, additional applications, such as wireless LAN and the monitoring and control of lighting, door locks and air conditioning systems, as well as on-board safety facilities, are combined in a single network structure, which lowers cabling and connection costs.
A further focus will be on the innovative guest service platform Velimo (Velocity, Lithe and Mobility). Velimo enables the enterprise wide convergence of applications and hardware to deliver network, voice, WiFi, video, audio, news, games, icafe, shopping, concierge, spa, shorexbooking and digital signage across tablets, tvs, laptops and smartphones.
Seatrade Cruise Global 2016 will be held on 14-17 March 2016 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center, USA.
