Norderstedt, April 25, 2017 – Locating supplies or monitoring persons in danger zones: the Quuppa Intelligent Locating System™ makes it possible to pinpoint nearby objects in real time. Pepperl + Fuchs is showing how this works in practice with a Quuppa installation from Lufthansa Industry Solutions at the Hannover Messe from April 24th to 28th (hall 9, booth D76).
Intelligent Locating System™, a real-time localization system, enables intelligent and thus cost-saving resource management. By installing little Bluetooth beacons, companies can make objects intelligent and pinpoint their location. This makes it possible for the supplies themselves to transmit information such as temperature or filling level, and to respond to sensations like keystrokes, brightness, shocks, or changes in position.
A wide range of 300 meters keep down the costs of monitoring even large areas. Objects can be pinpointed to within ten centimeters – both indoors and out. What is more, the battery life, size, and sensor systems of the beacons can be configured to meet the company’s individual needs.
