Norderstedt, January 31, 2018 – Lufthansa Industry Solutions has now founded a new department in the Technology Consulting business unit – cloud computing. This enables the company to apply its expertise to one of the most interesting basic technologies of the digital transformation. Lufthansa Industry Solutions has many years of wide-ranging experience in implementing and running solutions in the cloud and works together with several leading cloud providers. The scope of services of this Lufthansa subsidiary includes consulting, implementation and operational services.
Starting immediately, Babak Garjani will be taking charge of the new division as Associate Director. This 35-year-old, qualified business computer scientist has been working for Lufthansa Industry Solutions since 2007, most recently as Head of Software Development in the Hospitality Division. The position of Associate Director of Cloud Computing in the Technology Consulting business unit has only lately been created. Babak Garjani will report directly to Bernhard Kube, Vice President of Technology Consulting at Lufthansa Industry Solutions.
