Lufthansa Industry Solutions (LHIND) advances from Select Consulting Partner to Advanced Consulting Partner in the Amazon Web Services Partner Program. This new status demonstrates LHIND's existing cloud expertise in handling AWS cloud services.
Norderstedt, November 17, 2020 – With immediate effect, LHIND is one of the few AWS Advanced Consulting Partners in Germany whose range of services goes far beyond pure cloud specialization. LHIND also supports its customers in AI, SAP or IoT projects and provides advice on IT security issues.
Within the framework of the cooperation between LHIND and AWS, various customer projects have been realized in the past. LHIND's customer Cittadino, for example, relies on AWS as a solution that enables the provider of digital out-of-home (DOOH) media to use predictive analytics to display advertising in real time and in a manner appropriate to the target group. For the German mobility provider, Hamburger Hochbahn, LHIND is testing the use of the AWS cloud to enable early detection of damage and smooth operations by integrating various sensors and downstream data analysis.
Cloud services have arrived at companies
"For us, winning the AWS Advanced Partnership is a special honor, but also the logical next step," said Bernd Appel, Managing Director at LHIND. "Companies are increasingly requesting services from cloud providers, and reservations about cloud services have become much less pronounced. Our customers see the use of the cloud as an opportunity make their costs more variable and tap into new customer groups and markets without having to bear the financial risk of their own infrastructure. We want to take this trend into account with the AWS Advanced Consulting Partner status". In particular, LHIND advises customers from industry, the automotive sector, logistics and trade on solutions based on AWS.
To achieve Advanced status, extensive certification in the technical and business context was required. In addition, a large number of completed projects in the consulting and development of sophisticated cloud-based applications and the migration of existing applications to the AWS Cloud serve as proof of existing AWS expertise and thus as the basis for the status upgrade.
