Lufthansa Industry Solutions presents novel IoT solution at Hannover Messe 2019

All-in-one solution for servicing, maintenance and localization in industrial facilities / Customizable combination of process and transaction data

Norderstedt, March 27, 2019 – Lufthansa Industry Solutions will be presenting a newly developed IoT solution for industrial operations at the Hannover Messe. It is the first solution to combine process and transaction data and analyze them in real-time. This makes it possible to actively control processes and to monitor, maintain and service as well as locate objects, people and vehicles in industrial facilities using just one solution.

The new IoT solution of the Lufthansa subsidiary is individually tailored to the relevant requirements and use cases. It is a dynamic digital twin of the company or facility that can replicate real-world statuses and processes. This is made possible thanks to a novel alliance of various analysis and process control methods with IoT positioning technologies.

“Our IoT solutions are not off the rack – they are tailored to the operational requirements of our clients,” says Bernhard Kube, Vice President of Technology Consulting at Lufthansa Industry Solutions. “The combination of individual methods and technologies produces pioneering process control and analysis for industrial facilities that can detect current statuses and changes almost in real-time.”

Lufthansa Industry Solutions will be using the new IoT solution as the digital twin of its exhibition stand at the Hannover Messe as a demonstration of what it can do. This is one of six exhibits from the realm of the Internet of Things that Lufthansa Industry Solutions will be showcasing in Hanover from April 1 to 5, 2019, in Hall 6, booth H17. Visitors will have the chance to explore all practice-oriented use cases shown themselves.
