Development of AI and machine learning use cases / New options for computer vision applications
Norderstedt, August 18, 2019 – Starting immediately, Lufthansa Industry Solutions is a solution advisor in the NVIDIA partner network; NVIDIA is the market leader in AI computing. As part of this collaboration, the Lufthansa subsidiary will especially advance the development of artificial intelligence and machine learning use cases for the benefit of its customers in various industries.

The graphics processors for computers and computer systems that were developed by the American corporation from California are used at a grand scale for applications with artificial intelligence. This allows companies to use, for example, the NVIDIA platform EGX for edge servers to execute AI applications on a secure device on site. Such usage may occur during continuous real-time streaming, as well as during data exchanges between warehouses or in IoT-networked production. At the same time, the platform contributes to reducing the amount of data that must be transmitted to the cloud.
