Lufthansa Industry Solutions at the International Supply Chain Conference 2019

Berlin, October 23, 2019 – The largest annual meeting of the German logistics industry begins today in Berlin. The 36th edition of the International Supply Chain Conference is held under the theme "Inspire, Encourage, Act". The key question: What political and social challenges are logistics professionals currently facing and how can they meet them? In this context, the topic of digitization once again plays a central role at the International Supply Chain Conference. This is one of the reasons why the logistics specialists from Lufthansa Industry Solutions (LHIND) are on site.

At LHIND's booth L/08, congress participants can discover current projects and solutions for the logistics industry in which technologies such as Artificial Intelligence or Blockchain are playing a growing role. The experts from the IT consulting company will also be taking part in the discussion rounds at the Logistics Congress.

Ralf Struckmeier, Vice President Logistics at LHIND, will discuss innovative hardware and software solutions with other IT specialists from AEB SE, NTT Data Deutschland and SSI Schäfer IT Solutions in the "Meet the Expert - Software/IT" format. On Thursday, Struckmeier will be a guest at the Hansetalk of the Logistik Initiative Hamburg on the topic "Courage Wins - The Intelligent Urban Logistics of the Future".

The International Supply Chain Conference will open its doors from 23 to 25 October 2019 at the InterContinental Berlin and the neighbouring Pullman Berlin Schweizerhof. "Meet the Expert - Software/IT" will take place on Wednesday, 23 October at 12.15 p.m. in the pavilion of the InterContinental. The panel show in the Hanse Lounge will start on Thursday, 24 October at 14.30 on the Pavilion Terrace West.
