Norderstedt, January 20, 2020 – Lufthansa Industry Solutions (LHIND) and VP Venue Planner GmbH have signed a cooperation agreement. The IT service provider and the software start-up want to jointly promote digitalization within the event industry in the areas of planning, implementation and monitoring.
Venue Planner offers event managers a digital solution for the conception and implementation of events. Venue, personnel and material can be integrated and managed in the tool via a web interface. Resources can be adapted to the current needs of the planning team by drag-and-drop. Venue Planner digitally maps every step of the process. This allows all participants to be informed about the project status in real time and to view cost adjustments at any time. "Especially at the end of the planning phase, a lot of information meets a constantly growing group of participants. Information can then only be distributed inadequately via analog methods," says Rainer Schüler, founder and managing director of VP Venue Planner GmbH.
LHIND supports Venue Planner in the development and marketing of the Software-as-a-Service solution. In addition, LHIND relies on extensive digitalization of the entire event industry. "With new technologies and intelligent software solutions, those responsible can make planning more efficient, safer and more customer-friendly," says Ralf Struckmeier, Vice President Logistics at LHIND.
