Norderstedt, November 25, 2021 - Two experts from Lufthansa Industry Solutions have reached the finals of this year's WIN Awards. Didem Uzun, Business Development Artificial Intelligence & Data Analytics, and Dr. Fereshta Yazdani, Technology Consultant & Data Scientist, are among the top 3 women nominated in each of the categories "Digital Transformation - Technical Innovation" respectively "Outstanding Diversity Commitment."
The WIN Awards are presented annually by the Women's IT Network and Vogel IT-Medien to recognize successful women from the IT industry or IT environment as "Woman of the Year". This year, 22 finalists were selected from 90 candidates and the silver, gold and platinum rankings of the candidates were determined by more than 20,000 votes in a large reader survey. The "Woman of the Year" award ceremony, which is held as part of the "FIT Congress" (Females in IT), had to be postponed this year to May 18, 2022 due to the pandemic situation.
