Norderstedt, May 28, 2019 – Lufthansa Industry Solutions will present its IT solutions for the transport and logistics industry at the transport logistics and participate in the demanding conference programme. Together with around 50 companies from the port, transport and logistics industry in Hamburg and the region, the IT service provider will be represented at the international logistics trade fair under the common umbrella of "Gateway Hamburg".
The presentation by Lufthansa Industry Solutions will focus on IT solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT), data analytics, predictive maintenance and the smart supply chain. The logistics and IT expert Olivia Mente will give a lecture on "Digital Twin: Optimization of logistics processes through integration of simulation and IoT" as part of the Bitkom session Logistics 2022 - The Future is Now!
Every two years, transport logistic is regarded as the world's leading trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management. It will be held at Messe München from 4 to 7 June 2019. More than 2,360 exhibitors from all over the world are expected.
The "Gateway Hamburg" joint stand will be organised by Logistik-Initiative Hamburg and the Port of Hamburg. The Bitkom session and lecture by Olivia Mente will take place on Wednesday, June 5, from 2 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. in Forum II, Hall B2 Weststatt.
