Norderstedt, 30 April 2021 – On May 1, 2021, Cargo Future Communications GmbH (CFC) will absorb the User Help Desk (UHD) Services business unit from IBM Deutschland Aviation Industry Workplace Services GmbH (IBM AIWS). The UHD Services unit in Flensburg will continue operations as a CFC location and will become a central service desk for IT infrastructure services within the Lufthansa Group. Through this move, the Lufthansa Industry Solutions (LHIND) subsidiary is safeguarding the jobs of around 70 employees at the business unit in Flensburg.

Christian Rothkirch, Managing Director, Cargo Future Communications: "We are very pleased to continue the success story of UHD Services in Flensburg and to welcome the new colleagues to our company. Their many years of experience and expertise in the field of UHD Services will be an asset to CFC."
