We are seeking a highly skilled Monitoring Engineer with expertise in Icinga2 and its ecosystem to design, implement, and maintain a robust infrastructure monitoring solution.
- Design, implement, and manage the monitoring infrastructure using Icinga2 and its components (Icinga Web, Icinga Director, etc.).
- Configure alerting rules and notification systems to ensure that the appropriate stakeholders are informed of critical issues in a timely manner.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline monitoring processes, including the onboarding of new systems and services.
- Write and configure custom plugins in python, bash/golang and checks for Icinga2 to monitor specific applications, services, and infrastructure components.
- Optimize the performance and scalability of the Icinga2 environment as the company grows, including load balancing and high-availability setups.
- Work with cross-functional Platform teams to define monitoring requirements and implement solutions.
